In addition to searching for and selecting individuals for board and management positions, Tostmann – The Executive Finder supports supervisory boards, executive boards, and management teams in personnel and governance matters. The goal is a holistic consulting approach that shapes appointments, collaboration, and public perception in such a way as to minimize risks and consistently leverage potential impact.
Governance and personnel consulting for supervisory boards and management boards
In the Advisory area, committees and management bodies are advised on all aspects of personnel matters. These include, among other things:
- Strategic personnel and succession planning
Structured planning of successions in the board of directors, management and key positions; scenario analyses, timelines, handover models and communication. - Advice on appointment procedures and committee decisions
Preparation and professional support of personnel decisions in the supervisory board (e.g. board appointments, contract extensions, dismissals), including assessment of possible alternatives and risks. - Identification and management of potential conflict areas
Early analysis of potential sources of conflict – e.g., in the interaction between the supervisory board and the management board, between owners and management, or within management teams – as well as the development of approaches to dealing with tensions, role ambiguities, and differences in expectations.
