In the Advisory area, committees and management bodies are advised on all aspects of personnel matters. These include, among other things:

  • Strategic personnel and succession planning
    Structured planning of successions in the board of directors, management and key positions; scenario analyses, timelines, handover models and communication.
  • Advice on appointment procedures and committee decisions
    Preparation and professional support of personnel decisions in the supervisory board (e.g. board appointments, contract extensions, dismissals), including assessment of possible alternatives and risks.
  • Identification and management of potential conflict areas
    Early analysis of potential sources of conflict – e.g., in the interaction between the supervisory board and the management board, between owners and management, or within management teams – as well as the development of approaches to dealing with tensions, role ambiguities, and differences in expectations.

Advisory is conceived as a "complete package" addressing all personnel-related issues concerning boards and top management – from conception and decision preparation (e.g., preparation through workshops and/or targeted coaching) to implementation and follow-up. The goal is to ensure that personnel decisions are made on a sound professional basis, in compliance with governance regulations, and with effective communication – and that "nothing goes wrong" because potential risks are identified early and professionally managed.

  • Executive and Board Coaching
    Individual support for elected officials and managers during role changes, critical situations, transformation processes and complex stakeholder constellations – with a clear focus on the ability to act within the existing system.
  • Workshops for committees and management teams
    Moderated formats for clarifying roles, addressing conflict situations, or preparing for upcoming changes (change management) or significant transformation processes. Workshops can be very effective and helpful in preparing for and ensuring essential communication phases in change processes. Key prerequisites include precise preliminary discussions with all participants, a clearly structured agenda, unambiguous goal definition, and interactive, yet goal-oriented work sequences.
