At some point, the desire for change becomes so great that one cause is often enough to identify a specific issue that needs to be resolved. My main goal is to support the client in two to three sessions to help them gain the strength they need to move forward on their own initiative.
The client decides at what intervals the sessions shall be held. For more complex issues, I recommend a longer period of time, with weekly sessions for the first four to six weeks.
Questions that arise after a session can be discussed by telephone or reflected on together in the following session.
