With over 20 years of experience in the financial sector, I advise companies on the successful recruitment of executives and board members, as well as the development of their governance structures and executive teams. After studying languages in Montpellier, I completed my law studies in Freiburg im Breisgau and Hamburg. I began my career in Hamburg as a trainee and later as a project manager at Gruner+Jahr, before joining the Frankfurt office of the executive search firm Heidrick Struggles at the end of 1998. From 2005, I was a partner there in the "Financial Services" practice, and from 2007, I also became Practice Managing Partner for "Legal, Risk & Compliance" in Germany, and a year later, for the EMEA region as well.

Seit 2009 bin ich Geschäftsführerin von Tostmann The Executive Finder GmbH in Frankfurt am Main; von 2009 bis 2018 waren wir zusätzlich am Standort Zürich, Schweiz, tätig.

My focus is on discreetly approaching and sustainably recruiting leaders, as well as on individual coaching and workshop offerings for executives and committees.

Consulting philosophy

Professionalism, transparent communication, trust, and mutual respect are central to my approach, as is a careful consideration of the specific environment. "Who fits in there?" – This question is the starting point for every search. I am guided by a systematic perspective on people and organizations.

My aim is to support mandates in such a way that they have a long-term impact: from jointly developed role clarification to structured selection methods and personal follow-up support in the new environment.

In addition, there is the personal responsibility involved in removing a person from their previous environment. A holistic approach, a consistent focus on current market demands and circumstances, and a trained intuition form the basis of every collaboration.
